Aetna To Purchase Humana Healthcare

Health insurer Aetna has reached a deal to buy competitor Humana for $37 billion. It would create the second-largest managed care company and the nation's largest Medicare Advantage provider.



Analysts say the health care overhaul has pushed insurers to consolidate, and a big deal has been expected for weeks.
