Work Starts Thursday on Livingston County Road

A contractor plans milling & paving work along KY 917/Stringtown Road in Livingston County starting Thursday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says Milling & Paving along KY 917/Stringtown Road runs from the intersection with US 62, northward to the intersection with KY 93/Iuka Road. This is along KY 917 between Lake City and the Iuka community in southeastern Livingston County.

Milling work is expected on Thursday and Friday, and the contractor plans to close KY 917/Stringtown Road the following Monday for full-width paving.

This work schedule is weather dependent. The schedule will automatically advance to the next working day until complete. Once started, paving is expected to take about three days.
