The Mayfield Police Department says the incident happened just before 5:00 pm in the parking lot of Ruler Foods. Officers said Lynda Paschall was walking through the parking lot, pushing a shopping cart, when she was accidentally struck by a vehicle driven by Jacqueline Canter.
Canter told police she did not see
Paschall walking.
Paschall was transported to Jackson Purchase
Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
