The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says deputies were dispatched to a home in reference to an assault complaint. Deputies said the victim, Daniel Maxberry, had received a leg injury that was later determined to be a gunshot wound.
As a result of the investigation, Kelle Maxberry was located in McCracken County, where she was arrested. Kelle Maxberry was charged with 1st degree assault-domestic violence and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
