Rainfall that settled in on Friday and hung over the region all weekend met forecasters' expectations, totaling up to 4 inches in parts of western Kentucky.
Radar-indicated totals as of Monday morning suggest that between three and four inches of rain fell over a large portion of Hickman County. That figure was matched in central Graves County, and along the Marshall/Calloway county line. Over three inches was also indicated in small parts of Carlisle and Fulton counties.
Much of the rest of western Kentucky received 1.5 to 3 inches of rain, as indicated by radar.
Southeast Missouri had the highest rainfall of the weekend, with some areas catching 5 to 6 inches for the weekend.
Forecasters say an additional half-inch of rain could occur on Monday, with sunshine holding off until the second half of the week.
