Warrant Leads to Drug Charges for Marshall Co. Man

A Gilbertsville man was arrested on an active warrant and several drug related charges.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, a deputy assisted the Calvert City Police Department on Tuesday in an attempt to locate the individual. They went to a home on Sandstone Street and found 39-year-old Jeremy D. Meredith.

While in the home, the investigation by the officers allegedly revealed marijuana, methamphetamine, and several items of drug paraphernalia.

Meredith was arrested for an active Failure to Appear warrant out of Marshall County, and also charged with possession of marijuana, 1st degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
