A Fort Campbell soldier wanted for 120 counts of sexual abuse of a person under the age of 12 and desertion has been arrested in Tennessee.

The U.S. Marshals Service says agents found Master Sgt. James Johnson in Brentwood, Tennessee on Wednesday. The 31-year-old Johnson is wanted by the Christian County Sheriff's Office in Hopkinsville and charged by the U.S. Army.

Johnson was originally arrested on June 20, 2012 for sexual abuse of a minor by Kentucky authorities in Christian County. He was released on bond the same day.

The U.S. Army reported Johnson as a military deserter on Nov. 6, 2013. He was assigned to the, 506th Infantry Regiment, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.

Johnson was lodged at the Williamson County Jail pending extradition to Kentucky.
