Two Men to Serve Prison Sentences After Pleas

MAYFIELD - Two men facing charges in Graves County recently entered pleas and will be serving time in prison.

According to Graves County Commonwealth's Attorney Richie Kemp, the two men, Roderick Sherrill and Robert Langston, appeared in court on August 5 for separate hearings. 

Sherrill pleaded guilty to three counts of 1st degree rape of a victim under 12 years old, and will be sentenced to 25 years in prison. Sherrill was arrested in January by Mayfield Police for sexually assaulting a juvenile family member at their home. 

Langston pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 and will receive a sentence of six years in prison. He was arrested last August by Mayfield Police after an investigation into the theft of a vehicle from the parking lot at Graves County High School.
