Two Injured When Car Strikes Light Pole

A single vehicle crash in Mayfield Friday sent two people to the hospital.

According to the Mayfield Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Wyatt Drive and Paris Road. Officers said a car struck a light pole on the northwest corner of the intersection.

The driver, Travis Fletcher, and the passenger, Justin Burgess, were both transported by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
