It doesn't pay to break the law, or hide someone who does. That's the lesson two people in Marshall County learned on Monday.

Marshall County sheriff's deputies and officers with the Benton Police Department responded to a home on East 14th Street in Benton Monday after receiving information that a man wanted on multiple warrants was at the home. Officers had apparently responded to the same home on multiple occasions in search of the wanted man.

This time, police found the man, Will A. Vincent, and served him two failure to appear warrants. The original charges were trafficking in controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing or evading police and criminal mischief.

Police also arrested a woman at the home, Natasha Mize of Calvert City, and charged her with hindering prosecution or apprehension. According to police, Mize lied to officers about Vincent being in the home and assisted him in hiding.

Both were lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
