Traffic Stop Leads to Marijuana Charge for Teen

A Mayfield teen faces marijuana and other charges.

According to the Mayfield Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop at King's Drive for a speeding violation. The driver, 18-year-old Shauntres Tyler, of Mayfield, was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license.

During a search of Tyler, three small baggies containing a green leafy substance were found inside of his pockets. Tyler was under curfew from 7pm to 6am.

Tyler was placed under arrest and transported to the Graves County Jail. He's charged with possession of marijuana, violation of conditions of release, speeding and driving on a suspended license.
