Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges for Mother, Son

A Marshall County mother and son were arrested on drug charges Wednesday.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle on U.S. Hwy. 62 in Calvert City. The operator of the motorcycle, Casey Jones, was arrested for drug offenses.

Detectives continued the investigation, which led to the arrest of Jones’ mother, Rebecca Davilman. Detectives found methamphetamine, several varieties of pills, drug paraphernalia and digital scales at Davilman and Jones’ home on Rudd Lane in Calvert City. Bonnie Brown was also at the home and was arrested on drug offenses. 

Jones is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davilman is charged with trafficking meth, multiple counts of trafficking controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brown faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
