Three Mayfield teens were arrested Friday on burglary charges.

The Mayfield Police Department says officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress at the Garden Apartments. Witnesses stated that three teens were confronted at the front door of the apartment by the mother of the victim, who was at work at the time.

According to police, the three teens jumped from second story windows, and fled the scene. All three were later located and detained.

Police said 18-year-old Kenneth Hendrix, 18-year-old David Cobb Jr, and a 16-year-old juvenile were interviewed and confessed to the burglary. All three were arrested and charged with 2nd degree burglary.

Hendrix and Cobb were lodged in the Graves County Jail. The juvenile was sent to the McCracken County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
