Three Injured, One Cited in Mayfield Crash

MAYFIELD - A two-vehicle crash in Mayfield Wednesday left three people injured.

According to the Mayfield Police Department, 18-year-old Marco Sirilo, of Mayfield, was attempting to leave the Walmart parking lot and make a right hand turn onto Paris Road. Witnesses told police that Sirilo was driving recklessly.

A car, driven by 24-year-old Tara De La Barra, of Lexington, was in the turning lane, preparing to make a left hand turn from Paris Road into the Walmart parking lot. As Sirilo pulled out of the parking lot, the front of his car collided with the front of De La Barra's car.

Sirilo, De La Barra and her passenger, 24-year-old Felipe De La Barra, also of Lexington, were all treated for their injuries.

Sirilo was cited for no registration plate, no registration receipt and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance.
