Three Calloway County Men Arrested on Drug Charges

A joint investigation by local, law enforcement agencies has led to the arrest of three Calloway County men and the seizure of quantities of illegal drugs. 
 
On Wednesday, the Calloway County Sheriff's Office obtained a search warrant with information that it received from McCracken County’s Drug Unit. The search warrant was for the home of 33-year-old Cory Oneill, in Dexter. The search warrant was executed later that day at approximately 2:50 pm by local law enforcement agencies.

Oneill was located and arrested on the property at the time of the execution of the search warrant. Deputies recovered approximately 3.8 ounces of methamphetamine from the residence.

The investigation during the O’neill search warrant lead to a second search warrant being obtained for the home of 48-year-old Donnie Ray Garlic in Murray. Deputies executed the search warrant and 3.5 grams of methamphetamine were found, along with drug paraphernalia and a firearm. Garlic was arrested at the scene. 

While deputies were on location, 41-year-old Jaden Murphy approached the scene of the crime, also in possession of methamphetamine, and was arrested.

 Garlic was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of handgun by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Oneill was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Murphy was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
