A Graves County High School teacher and coach who was cited last month on drug charges no longer has his job. Graves County Schools Superintendent Kim Dublin told West Kentucky Star Thursday afternoon that Zach Sims no longer works at the school. Dublin wouldn't comment further on the matter.

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, K-9 units were at Graves County High School on March 31 and found a small amount of marijuana in Sims' vehicle. Sims, a physical education teacher and boys soccer coach at the school, consented to a drug test, and tested positive for marijuana.

Sims, who also served as an assistant coach for the boys basketball team, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was suspended with pay through April 12.
