Suspected Tornado Near Owensboro Damages Homes

OWENSBORO - A suspected tornado touched down Saturday in western Kentucky and caused damage to three homes.

The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer reported that the suspected tornado moved through western Daviess County on Saturday afternoon as the storm downed trees and pushed vehicles together.

No injuries were reported.

Daviess County authorities spotted and tracked the rotation as it touched down.

Indiana's WFIE-TV reported that at one point on Saturday, there were more than 1,500 people in the Henderson and Owensboro area without power because of the storms.
