There will be no fireworks this weekend at Kentucky Dam Marina.

KDM has cancelled its annual Independence Day fireworks display, which was scheduled for this weekend.

Officials said it's not safe to host a large number of people while they're still cleaning up after this weekend's storm damage.

Officials say fireworks at Kentucky Dam have been rescheduled for Labor Day Weekend.

Additionally, the boat ramp and parking lot at the Kentucky Dam Marina are temporarily closed while repairs are made following this weekend's storms. Signs marking the closure will be posted. For boaters seeking to launch their boats, ramps are located at the Paddle Boat Pond and off Sledd Creek Road.
