State Police Make Felony Drug Arrest at Checkpoint

A Calloway County man was arrested Friday night on drug and alcohol charges. According to Kentucky State Police, 46-year-old Michael Queen of New Concord was charged with DUI during a traffic safety checkpoint on Highway 121 South in New Concord.

Troopers said various items of paraphernalia and drugs were located during a search of Queen's vehicle. Queen was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and various other traffic-related offenses. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
