State Police are investigating the shooting of two cars Saturday night, and are asking for help locating those responsible.

Kentucky State Police got a call from the Livingston County Sheriff's Office shortly after 9 p.m. about vehicles that had been shot on Clark's Ferry Road. The preliminary investigation showed an unmarked Deputy Jailer's vehicle and another vehicle a short distance away were both shot several times.

Police said some residents in the area reported hearing gunshots Friday night at around 11:30.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper Will Propes.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555. You can also report tips anonymously through the KSP app for iPhone, iPad and Android.
