The road will be closed to through traffic at 8 a.m. near the west edge of Hazel to allow a large double cross drain to be replaced.
The roadway is expected to reopen by about 4:00 pm.
The Calloway County Highway Maintenance Crew is working with Calloway County Schools to assist with the afternoon bus run.
