Social Services Request Leads To Drug Bust

KUTTAWA, KY - The Department of Social Services requested assistance where a juvenile was living under unsafe conditions Friday, March 30. A Kentucky State Trooper spoke with the owner of the residence, Dena McGregor. Mrs. McGregor said she lived there with her 14 year old child, and some friends, Amber Gillespie and Michael Brewer. After the Trooper saw drug Paraphernalia in plain view, a further search ensued, leading to the discovery of drug paraphernalia, 2 grams of methamphetamine, and a .22 caliber rifle.
Dena McGregor was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance st Degree, st offense (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphenalia, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and other charges.
Michael Brewer was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphenalia, , and other charges.
Amber Gillespie was cited into court for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
The juvenile was removed from the house by Social Services.
