Scary Attractions Open Again This Weekend

WESTERN KY; SOUTHERN IL - Many haunted houses and other scary attractions opened all over the area last weekend, and even more get started this weekend, and weekly through November 3rd. HAZEL WALKING DEAD HAUNTED HOUSE - at 116 Meyers Street, Hazel.
Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights through November 3rd from 6-10 pm. Bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for Calloway County’s Needline and receive $1 off your admission price. Several local organizations will benefit from this year’s haunted house. The Hazel Walking Dead Haunted House on Facebook (!/pages/Hazels-Walking-Dead-Haunted-House/449624231743274?fref=ts) will tell which organization will be supported each week. OAK GROVE CEMETERY TOURS - 1613 Park Avenue, in Paducah
Tours scheduled for October 26th, 27th, and 28th at 7 pm and 8 pm. Stroll with your guide in the cool night air down the moonlit paths of Oak Grove Cemetery, pausing to hear stories of triumph and tragedy told by the famous and infamous who dwell there. Tickets will be sold at the cemetery office 30 minutes prior to the tour, but RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Reserve tickets by calling the Market House Theater box office Tuesday through Friday between noon and 5pm at 270-444-6828. Tours leave on time, so please arrive early. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm-12 am, and Sundays 7-10 pm through October 28th. Park at Doctor Brush’s Optometry Office and you’ll be taken by hayride to the attraction. This year you’ll face the “End of the World Zombie Apocalypse”. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for kids 12 and under. Proceeds will benefit Guardian Family Services Womens Shelter in Metropolis. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights beginning at 6 pm, and October 30th and 31st beginning at 6 pm. CHAINSAW SLAUGHTER HOUSE - 782 Murray Highway in Benton, KY

MURRAY ZOMBIE WALK - October 27 - Beginning at 12th Street and Highway 94 near U.S. Bank.
Zombies will walk from there to the court square and to the south side of the court house, where there will be a band ("Social Revolution 5" rock band), that will begin playing after the walk. The band will also be dressed up as zombies. They will play until 6:30 pm at which time the event will be over. Hosted by the Chainsaw Slaughter House in Benton, KY. Purchase Players is pleased to announce Mayfield’s newest haunted attraction – Chaos at Kess Creek – is open Thursday thru Saturday nights through October. Chaos at Kess Creek will open at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday night both weekends. On Thursday nights, the haunt will shut down at 9 p.m. while the haunts on Friday and Saturday nights will run till 10 p.m. Experience Putrid Prom 2012, the Chaotic Clowns, and Who Let the Psychos Out?
