UPDATE 4/11/15:



Kentucky State Police and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office have located and apprehended the two remaining inmates who escaped from the Marshall County Detention Center on April 3. 



Acccording to a press release, Travis Bonapfel and Jeremiah Nicholas were captured Friday evening in the Hardin community.



Bonapfel and Nicholas are both charged with 2nd degree escape and violation of parole. They were taken to the Marshall County Detention Center with no bond.







UPDATE 4/7/15:

According to Kentucky State Police, Gage Jobe turned himself into law enforcement authorities on Tuesday morning. Jobe was taken to the Marshall County Detention Center, where he faces escape charges.  The remaining escapees are still being sought by law enforcement.





ORIGINAL STORY:

Police in western Kentucky are currently searching for three state inmates who escaped from the Marshall County Jail in Benton Friday night. 

It is believed they walked away from the facility.  

Details of how they escaped are still being investigated by Kentucky State Police. 

KSP is asking assistance from the public if they have any information concerning the whereabouts of these escapees.  If you have information concerning these escapees, you are asked to contact KSP at 1-800-222-5555 or 270-856-3721.  If you see these inmates, you are asked to call 911.  

The descriptions of each inmate with available photos are listed below.  A picture of each inmate is included in this story.

# 1 - Travis L. Bonapfel, 27 white male, 6'03", 200 pounds; convicted of Trafficking Heroin and Trafficking Controlled Substances from Campbell County, Ky.  He was last seen wearing: long sleeve black shirt, blue jeans, black and white shoes.

# 2 - Jeremiah J. Nicholas, 21, white male, 6'05", 250 pounds, convicted of 2 counts of Burglary, and Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor from Calloway and Marshall Counties, Ky. Last seen wearing: black toboggan, black long sleeve shirt, gray undershirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

# 3 - Gage A. Jobe, 23, white male, 5-11, 205 pounds, convicted of Receiving Stolen Property, and Wanton Endangerment from Marshall County, Ky. Last seen wearing: dark blue coat, blue jeans, and gray shoes.
