Reidland Teen Killed, 3 Injured in Marshall Crash

A single vehicle crash in Marshall County has killed a 15 year old teenager from Reidland and injured three others from Marshall County. 



The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says 15-year old Taylor Leigh of Reidland was driving a Kia Soul on Arant Road just south of Symsonia Highway. 



The Sheriff's office says Leigh lost control of the vehicle after cresting a hill at a high rate of speed early Friday morning at around 1:30 am.  Leigh's vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree.  Leigh, 17-year-old Cameron McElmurry of Benton, and 17-year-old Dustin Poat of Benton were thrown from the vehicle.



The Sheriff's office says Leigh was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County Coroner's office.  McElmurry, Poat, and a third passenger, 16-year-old Derek Locket of Calvert City, were taken to Marshall County Hospital for treatment of their injuries. 



Their current medical condition is unknown.
