Recent Murray Thefts Prompt Warning from Police

Murray Police are warning residents about a string of recent thefts from unlocked vehicles.

Officers say that over the past few days the Murray Police Department has seen an increase in thefts from vehicles in town. Several of these thefts involved items that were visible in an unlocked vehicle.

Officers remind drivers to lock their vehicles when not in use, even if only away for a few minutes, and to keep all valuable items hidden.
