Police Seek Smithland Man on Theft Charges

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is requesting the public's assistance finding a man wanted on theft charges.

Police said they served a search warrant Tuesday at the home of 47-year-old Kevin Hopkins on Cutoff Road near Smithland. The warrant was served as the result of a theft investigation that began several days ago. During the search, several items of stolen property were reportedly found.   

Police said Hopkins is wanted for multiple thefts in several counties. They are asking anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact the Livingston County Sheriff's Office at 270-928-2122 or any other law enforcement agency.
