Police Investigating Murray High School Teacher
By West Kentucky Star Staff
MURRAY - A teacher at Murray High School is currently being investigated for an alleged inappropriate relationship with at least one student.

Trooper Jay Thomas with Kentucky State Police confirmed that their agency was contacted by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board in mid-August. The EPSB had reportedly investigated the teacher at least once before, but called police after checking into a more recent accusation.

Thomas said police have not filed any charges, so he would not name the teacher.

School officials won't comment on personnel matters.
