Person Struck By Lightning Passes Away

A person struck by lightning on the Murray State University campus has passed away.

On Sunday, Shawn Touney, Director of Communication at Murray State University said a person visiting the Campus had been struck by lightning outside White Residential Hall. The injured person was taken to the Murray Calloway County Hospital for treatment.

On Tuesday, West Kentucky Star was informed that the person has passed away, as a result of the weather-related injuries.
