On Thursday, the Murray Police Department was called to an injury collision at the intersection of North 12th Street and Highway 121.
According to officers, 22-year-old James Thalmann of Tucson, Arizona was driving north along North 12th Street, and started making a left turn onto Highway 121 while 56-year-old Charlie McAlpin of Puryear, Tennessee was heading south on North 12th Street and entering the intersection with Highway 121.
The drivers then collided in the intersection. McAlpin was taken to the emergency room for treatment of possible injuries.
