Murray Woman Injured in Highway 641 Collision

A Murray woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in Calloway County.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 641 South and Tabard Drive at approximately 5:00pm.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, 78-year-old Doris Darcus was traveling north on Highway 641 and attempted to make a left turn onto Tabard Drive. Deputies said Darcus failed to yield the right of way to a southbound vehicle driven by Devontae Wilson of New Concord.

Darcus was transported by ambulance to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
