Murray Crash Results in Injuries, Arrest

A two-vehicle collision Friday in Murray resulted in injuries, and charges against one driver.

Murray Police said the accident happened at the intersection of Robertson Road and College Farm Road. Their investigation at the scene determined that 19-year-old Anayeli Arellana-Tapia of Mayfield was at the stop sign on College Farm Road, and her SUV was hit as she attempted to turn left onto Robertson Road. The other vehicle was driven by 28-year-old Froilan Aguero of Murray.

Murray Calloway EMS took at least one driver to the hospital for treatment of injuries, but Murray Police wouldn't specify, citing department policy.

Aguero was arrested for DUI and driving on a suspended license.
