By West Kentucky Star Staff
BARDWELL - Authorities in Carlisle County made a marijuana bust Tuesday in Bardwell.

The Carlisle County Sheriff's Office says an investigation led deputies to a marijuana grow exceeding 15 plants inside the city limits of Bardwell. Deputies say the investigation continues with arrests pending over the next few days.

The sheriff's office says it will continue to ramp up its drug eradication efforts by use of drones, K9 searches, highway patrols and help from public tips.

Cultivation of marijuana above five plants is a Class D Felony in the state of Kentucky.
