The Mayfield Police Department has donated 20 cases and 15 bags of food to the Mayfield-Graves County Food Pantry. The police department waived the $5 fee for a copy of a burglary or accident report in exchange for donating a food item to benefit the food pantry.

The food drive started at the beginning of November and will continue thru Dec. 19.

"You may also just donate a food item," Police Chief Bryan Morrison said. "Please bring it by city hall and drop it off with the administrative assistant Clarissa Yarber from 8 am until 4:30 pm daily. So far we've had a great response."
