Mayfield Pair Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

Two Mayfield residents face drug and other charges after a traffic stop Tuesday night in Mayfield.

The Kentucky State Police said a trooper stopped a vehicle at around 11 p.m. in Mayfield for a traffic violation. During the course of the stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted and troopers reportedly found meth, cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.

The driver of the vehicle, 31-year-old William McCampbell, was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and not having tail lamps.

A passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old Kimberly Hendrickson, was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana, and tampering with physical evidence. She was also arrested for an outstanding bench warrant in a 2016 Graves County case.

Both suspects were booked into Graves County Jail.
