The Mayfield Police Department says officers received a complaint of an unruly intoxicated man outside A to Z Liquors in Mayfield. Police found 42-year-old Jacob B. Klapp of Mayfield outside the business with open alcoholic beverages nearby.
Klapp was placed under arrest and was found to be in possession of controlled substances. Klapp was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, two counts of possession of controlled substance and prescription medication not in the proper container.
Klapp was taken to the Graves County Jail.
