Mayfield Man Faces Drug, Endangerment Charges

A Mayfield man faces drug and other charges after his arrest on Saturday.

The Mayfield Police Department said officers investigated suspicious persons entering a vacant home on North 4th Street. When officers knocked on the door, 32-year-old Andrew Saxton of Mayfield ran out a different door and fled on foot.

Saxton was apprehended and charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of wanton endangerment, criminal trespassing, fleeing and evading police and promoting contraband.

He was also served four Graves County warrants for possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, fleeing and evading and three counts of contempt of court.

Four others found inside the home were arrested. Forty-three-year-old Chasity Finney, 28-year-old Tesla Wheatley, 30-year-old Darren Carroll and 37-year-old Kathy Bouland, all of Mayfield, were each charged with criminal trespassing.
