Mayfield Man Faces Drug Charges after Home Search

A Mayfield man was arrested Wednesday on drug charges, after police executed a search warrant at a home.

Kentucky State Police got a tip on Wednesday evening from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department about suspected drug trafficking at a home on Tom Drive in Mayfield. Troopers executed a search warrant at the home at around 10:00 pm.

During the search, investigators reportedly seized about 46 grams of cocaine, 23 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and more than $3,500.

According to police, the seized drugs have an estimated street value of $6,900.

Detectives arrested 38-year-old Andre V. Chism, of Mayfield. He is charged with two counts of 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and harboring a vicious animal. He was booked into the Graves County Jail.
