A Mayfield couple was arrested on Monday after an investigation into a burglary.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, deputies were sent to a home on KY 131 at 3:07 am after a report of a burglary in progress. The victims told deputies that a man and woman had forced their way into the home with a gun, and fled the scene before deputies arrived. Through the information provided, deputies were reportedly able to identify one of the suspects as 19-year-old Keon Boyd.

While in the home, Boyd allegedly asked the homeowners about another person who lived in the home, who wasn't there at the time. Boyd and the woman with him allegedly began stealing items from the home, and forced one of the homeowners at gunpoint to help carry items out of the house. The pair then fled in a vehicle with an unknown driver.

At approximately 5:35 am, deputies received information indicating that Boyd might be at a home on West Houseman Street. Deputies arrived at the home and located Boyd hiding in a closet. He was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail.

While at the home, deputies also arrested 46-year-old Erine Haisten on charges of second degree hindering prosecution because she allegedly lied to deputies when they arrived.

Boyd is being charged with sexual misconduct, first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first degree robbery, first degree burglary, first degree unlawful imprisonment, first degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
