The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded Sunday night to a store in Hardin in reference to a report of an intoxicated person. Deputies later stopped the suspect's vehicle, and arrested the driver, 30-year-old Robert B. Phillips, of Benton.
Phillips is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in marijuana.
Police say Phillips said he had
recently smoked marijuana and taken Xanax and Methadone. Deputies
also found small baggies of marijuana inside the vehicle that appeared
to be prepped for sale.
Phillips was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
