Marshall Deputies Make Two Meth Arrests

Two people were arrested on methamphetamine and other charges Saturday in Marshall County after police tried to serve a warrant.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 5000 block of US 62 to serve a warrant. The deputies didn't find who they were looking for, but two others at the scene were arrested.

Thirty-nine-year-old Dale Dixon of Paducah was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, giving an officer false identifying information and carrying a concealed weapon by a prior deadly weapon felony offender. He was also served a warrant from Livingston County for parole violation.

Also arrested was 42-year-old Tammy Rachele Whittington of Calvert City. She's charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and hindering prosecution or apprehension.

Both were lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
