The Jackson Sun reports that 37-year-old John David Jones, of Marshall County is charged in Jackson, TN with statutory rape by an authority figure and incest.
Jones was arraigned Thursday in Jackson City Court. His bond was set at $75,000. He is being held at the Madison County Jail.
Police say the girl's mother reported the alleged crime to police on Oct. 10. According to police, Jones was arrested on Oct. 11 in Kentucky.
He was later taken back to Jackson, Tennessee by police.
