A man was arrested last week on multiple sex-related charges, but police say there may be more unidentified victims.

In a Monday press release, the Murray Police Department said they executed a search warrant and arrest warrant at a home on Irvan Street and arrested 20-year-old Joseph Costilow, who also goes by the name Joey Amacher. Police say the warrants stem from a complaint by a juvenile girl who said she had been sexually assaulted.

During the investigation, a warrant was also submitted to a social media website, and police say more than one victim was contacted by the man while using his alias. Costilow was arrested on four counts of distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, five counts of promoting a minor under 16 in a sexual performance, and five counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.

Police say the search warrant led to discovery of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun that police believe to be stolen. Costilow faces additional charges of trafficking of marijuana, receiving stolen property (firearm), and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Calloway County Detention Center.

On Sunday, another warrant was issued and served on Costilow, charging him with six counts of distributing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, six counts of promoting a minor under 16 in a sexual performance, and six counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.

The investigation is ongoing and more possible victims have not yet been identified. Anyone who has information about Joseph Costilow, AKA Joey Amacher, should contact Detective Angel Clere the Murray Police Department at 270-753-1621.
