The Graves County Sheriff's Office says the theft happened around 6:00 am in Wingo. A woman told deputies she started her vehicle to let it warm up, then went back inside her home. When she came out, her vehicle was gone.
The vehicle and the suspected thief were both later found in Christian County. Deputies say James Clyde Norton III was arrested and charged with public intoxication-controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property, and theft by unlawful taking.
Norton was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
