Graves County authorities arrested a man Saturday on aggravated DUI charges after his vehicle ran off the road and hit an embankment.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says Deputies responded on Saturday to a crash on KY 1748 East near Pryorsburg. Redmon said the investigation showed 54-year-old Dennis Faulkner was westbound on KY 1748 East approaching Alton Road when he ran off the road and hit a utility pole. His vehicle then continued back across both lanes of roadway and came to rest in ditch after striking an embankment.

Deputies said Faulkner's blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit. He was arrested and booked into the Graves County Jail on charges of aggravated DUI first offense, Driving on a suspended or revoked license and possessing a license with privileges revoked.

Faulkner was not injured in the crash.
