MAYFIELD - A call about an intoxicated man on Friday led to that man's arrest on multiple charges.

The Mayfield Police Department was dispatched to Babb Drive about 8:30 am, and they spoke to 30-year-old Kyle Franklin of Mayfield. Police determined he was intoxicated, so he was arrested. Officers say they also found pills that reportedly didn't belong to him, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Kyle was taken to Graves County Jail. He faces charges of public intoxication, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and an unspecified drug).
