According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called on Sunday to Hill Estates Lane in reference to a man calling and saying "hunters from Tennessee came out of the woods and tore his home up.” Deputies investigated and found this to not be the case.
Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the caller, Scotty Dale Jones, of Madisonville, on two warrants from Hopkins County. Additional charges were filed in Marshall County on Jones for public intoxication controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance.
