While deputies were attempting to conduct field sobriety tests, Rodgers allegedly ran and threw a baggie that contained approximately 2.5 oz of suspected marijuana. He was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail on charges of DUI, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, disorderly conduct and fleeing or evading police.

A Graves County man was arrested Wednesday night on DUI and marijuana charges. Graves County sheriff's deputies found a pickup truck stuck in the snow off Jimtown Road, near Mayfield. Deputies said they could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver, William Rodgers.
