Second Grade students at South Livingston Elementary School in Smithland had a surprise visitor on Tuesday.
After reading about dogs and the services they can provide, and the importance of taking care of animals, they had a special visitor. The K9 named Fox came to show a demonstration of different services that are provided.
School resource officer Greg Wilson, along with Marshall County Deputy Sheriff Lofton Rowley, helped with the program. The students learned about the services that Fox provides to the community and his family, when he is on and off duty.
