Lane Closure Saturday on KY 121 in Murray

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans an additional traffic restriction for construction activity along the KY 121 reconstruction project in Murray on Saturday.

Starting at 8 am, the contractor plans to restrict traffic to one lane along KY 121 between Bailey Road and KY 744/Coldwater Road at the north end of the KY 121 reconstruction project. This is near the AGR Fraternity House.

The contractor will be installing a new cross drain at this site. Traffic will be restricted to one lane with alternating flow controlled by Flaggers. Some delays are possible.  This traffic restriction is expected to be in place until about 3 pm.

The contractor will also be paving along KY 121 near the US 641 end of the project.  While traffic disruptions should be minimal, drivers should be alert for increased truck traffic hauling asphalt to the paver.
